That Hayes goal was the exact same chance as Aidan McCarthy had yesterday. Both players hit their shot in the exact same place, but McCarthy hit his harder. The slower ball beat Quaid.

He was deceived by the pace.
We are now reliant on the likes of Kingston dragging us back from anything of a 6-10 point deficit at the 50 minute mark. Not happening. If the 15 on the pitch currently won’t do, then we are fucked.
I thought Quaid may have got his angles wrong and also been a little too far off his line.
Cork need at least 2 more goals, Connolly/Hayes have it in them.
Cork’s 5 to 9 completely disappeared after a promising opening quarter. None of them making an impact now, let alone holding their own.
Eoin Downey has plenty of cut and potential but he had really struggled at full back this year, Flanagan is dominating without having to do much.

Brian Hayes has been electric. He caused Limerick a lot of bother in the Munster meeting too.
There is a load of space in front of Flanagan, what exactly do you expect from Downey.
