Without enough knowledge of dublin club players, or whats coming through or not, but I’ve never been impressed with dessie farrell. I saw him with underage teams and thought he was a bluffer. He won 2 all irelands, one right after taking Jim Gavins team, and the other after James McCarthy got the boys back playing again and looked like the players were the ones controlling things. Maybe Farrell isnt the issue there, but i feel he is the one that is bringing them back down rather than the players themselves
harsh view on Dessie but you will have those that share it with you
I don’t think there was much more than 2 all irelands to be got out of the Dublin squad
He has also won minor and under 21 all irelands with Dublin. There is not many\any that can say they managed minor, under 21 and senior all ireland winning teams with their native county??
Post Cody no Kilkenny manager has won an all ireland, post Micko in Kerry , it took a long time and 3 managers before Kerry won an all ireland. So on the round I think Dessie did okay
I think Dessie will step down

Galways to lose. But they will manage to lose it. Hopefully they can get the full compliment out for the semi. Be great if themselves and Kerry met in the final. A game for the traditionalists. I fancied Galway today but I wouldn’t fancy them against Donegal.
Am I right in saying they can’t get Armagh
If Derry win today it can be a Galway v Armagh semi-final because Armagh have already played all of Galway, Donegal and Derry.
If Kerry and Donegal win it’s Kerry v Armagh and Galway v Donegal.

Probably not a great example to be fair. He only stepped down 2 or 3 years ago.

What’s Walsh’s injury? Looked an ankle at first and maybe a hamstring then at the end. They’ll win nathin without him. Even his frees alone.
They are the best team left in it. They have a solid defensive structure, great midfield and super forwards.
Kerry have Clifford.
Donegal & Derry have a system.
Louth have no chance.
Armagh are doing well to be in a semi.
Imagine getting Roscommon to get to an All Ireland semi final

There’s still an element of truth in it though. Tackle the post, not the poster.

Louth donegal has a lovely novel feel to it. First championship meeting.
I did…the post is a pile of bollocks

He scored a lovely point early doors and everything was going according to script until he spotted an early *40’s fun runner in the Hogan. He was ashen faced thereafter. A bit like Donny in Baby Reindeer at the comedy gig.
*But at least 3-5 years younger looking by all accounts.

Louth butchered a decent goal chance

0-5 to 0-1 for Donegal. Half-time score will probably be 1-12 to 0-3.

Enjoyable enough so far to be fair. Some nice scores kicked.
