This game has had more physicality, turnovers and referee letting stuff go than you would see in an entire championship in the other provinces. Looks a great occasion

That was a tough watch of a first half. At the moment Galway’s 2022 season looks like a one off and that they’re sliding back into mediocrity. Mayo not much better.

I think it’s a good contest. Mayo a bit better. Galway got great joy out of Comer on the edge of the square but then moved him out for some unknown reason

You’d feel they will need a goal or two to win it and comer looks the most likely
Galway have big players back but with very little football in their legs. Hard to see them lasting the pace in the heat.
Two great goal chances Galway have missed now.

Daft that Carney didn’t shoot there. Mayo ended up getting the point as it turned out but it’s such a cop out to not shoot when you’re in that position.
