Background Hi all. As some of you may know I have lived in Cambodia for several years. Things are very tough here at the minute. Where I live (Siem Reap) 60% of our economy is tourism and we have had not had a tourist in well over a year. Huge numbers have been made unemployed and social welfare is only €30 a month and that only lasts for three months. Many are without any income. Schools here are closed and children have already missed over 150 days of school. Many children will never return…

I’ve the racing post and a little roulette where I spin and whatever number comes out I back the corresponding horse

In all seriousness it’s just his pedigree. I knew you couldn’t get heavy enough for him and far enough trip wise.

I alway think when the ground changes over night from yielding to heavy the jockeys tend to go too quick and I was sure that would suit him. It’s all about momentum in those conditions.

I was going to back him in Limerick when he fell but didn’t and he ran a huge race in punchestown when the ground was too quick for him.

Today always looked like a day he could show himself to best effect.
