2024 PDC World Darts Championship & Q School

He wouldn’t win a leg in the Imperial the way he is throwing.

Remarkably the leg score is only 9-5.

How did this Brendan Dolan fellow end up in a quarter final? Who did he beat to get this far?

Dolan is such a non-entity that we’re not even deservedly getting any “Ireland get battered everywhere they go” chants.

Mickey Mansell, Gerwyn Price and Gary Anderson. You can only beat what’s put in front of you.

He’s been utterly shite. But this should be 3-2 if not 2-3 in Dolan’s favour.

13-8 now in legs and 4-1 in sets. Hon Brendan.

Rob Cross is well positioned for a crack at his second world title on the soft side of the semi draw.

He’ll do a proper beat 'im up job on Littler.

Dolan was glad to get off the stage for a finish

Has there ever been an easier path to a World semi final regardless of how well the lad is playing? John Part maybe @Cheasty ?

I’d wager there have been plenty easier paths than Littler has had. He beat Barney who was averaging 100.

Peter Manley in 1999 looks about as easy a route as you could have. He heat Eric Bristow, Graeme Stoddart, Dennis Smith and Shayne Burgess. Bristow averaged a whopping 53.36. Some of the earlier pdc tournaments were laughably shit.

My sources say things could get messy regarding bets on Luke Littler.

As in ?

You’d miss Peter Manley. He had the best walk on, ever.

Because of his age or what’s the deal?

Did Peter Kay used to walk on with him the odd time?

Nice bit of winding up in the pre-match interviews between Van Gerwen and Scott Williams. This Williams chap has a nice touch of Jonathan Gullis type pig ignorance about him, which is what you want in darts.

I have heard that Williams is just as thick as a ditch.
