Classic . Only second to the dubs minor team in 2011 that went on to create history with the 6 in a row at senior ?

C’,MMMONNNN Kerry

There were tyrone teams with more future all Ireland winners id say. Kerry u21 team that lost 99 all Ireland final to Westmeath had a ridiculous amount of future stars.

Edit:
Kerry: Kieran Cremin; Stephen O’Sullivan, Tom O’Sullivan, Michael McCarthy; Sean Hegarty, TomĂĄs Ó SĂ©, Enda Galvin; Tommy Griffin, John Sugrue; Noel Kennelly, AodĂĄn Mac Gearailt, Tadhg Kennelly; Paul Galvin, Liam Murphy, Ian Twiss. Subs used: Sean O’Sullivan for P Galvin; Michael D Cahill for Twiss.

9 future senior medallists?

11 if you count Sugrue coaching them to one

Eight future All-Ireland senior medallist starters and a future Connacht rugby coach here.

They’d easily pass for a senior team. Most of them look mid to late 20s

My sole mistake (similar to concluding that Limerick hurlers were absolutely done) was my astute observation not becoming fully apparent until a couple of games later.

Persisting with zonal defence on the edge of the 45/arc like it’s 2014 bar the designated man marker on David Clifford, thus allowing Paudie Clifford the freedom of the park to pick them apart - NO lads.

Barely attempting a 2-pointer all game & doing a lot of inefficient running & lateral kick & hand passing - NO lads.

You got that spot on, anyway.

Did he score 0-7 off him in the 1st, and 0-2 in the second? He’ll definitely or hopefully learn a bit from yesterday on how to better contain him in the future. To be fair, if you asked me before the match if we could win if we kept David to 9pts, I’d have thought so, but not dissimilar to Tyrone v Kerry, the other end of the field didn’t make that count. Did I read that Armagh kept him the quietest this year with an 8pt tally?

Meath surely?

I’d assume McGuinness will remain a while yet, at least until the Amorim job comes up.
They need to re jig their approach and develop a few lads who aren’t afraid to have a shot. Murphy and McBrearty are done essentially with Thompson not far behind.
I know nothing of their underage talent but both O’Donnels and Gallen have bright futures if given more latitude. O’Baoill could also be in contention next year but essentially they need braver forwards and ease back on the practise of fannying around the edge of the arc.
Twice at least they knifed through before inevitably taking the step/bounce/solo too many and getting subsumed by ravenous Yerras.

You’re right. 5pts. I was criminally underslept when Cheasty posted his individual game tallies yesterday.

I think that could be the crux of it
thought Donegal seemed to be always searching for their ‘shooters’ but the Kerry lads had the confidence & self belief to have a pop themselves.

One or two Kerry lads took pops in the first half and I’d say they had a talking to at half time as a result
