2026 All Ireland Football Championship

I mean anyone whinging ad nauseum that things were better in the old days

Episode 4 No GIF by Curb Your Enthusiasm

Like people who preferred a 32 team World Cup to a 48 team one? They’re Gavin Peppers?

…in the hurdling.

No peppers think all modern things are shit. Rules, formats, when the games are played etc etc etc. You’re a bit of a pepper yourself actually!

Fairly sad and pathetic post.

Do you think a 48 team World Cup is better than a 32 team one?

Definitely not. I suppose there’s a hint of pepper in us all.

You’re living in the past - we must all get on board with Gianni Infantino and 48 teams and 104 Superbowls and Coldplay playing the WORLD CUP HALFTIME SHOW™ with BUDWEISER.

Roll up roll up for Jordan v Austria at 5:30am.

What’s hurdling??

I suppose it’s more the whinging about everything to do with modern gaa that has more than a hint of the pepperesque Ireland is a kip brigade.

I think you got this from @Cheasty lampooning the vacuous sloganeering of the split season zealots and Fr Patrick Toltin Cup apologists as “GAA Brexiteers” and it made you uncomfortable.

Attempting to copy that barb, ramping it up and turning it back around was the best you could unimaginatively do to try and soothe the raw nerve that had been touched.

Name the first team that in the same season lost a championship game yet won the AI football final

Limerick 1888

Here we go again

5 matches being shown live and cunts still aren’t happy

Which of the 2B ones is televised?

Presumably the Dubs?

Two days later than they had to be with the draw and still no times and dates. Not the best to encourage attendance

It’s how working class dubs pronounce hurling. D’hurdlin.

16000 at a Dublin championship game, so maybe 10k Dublin supporters. Out of a population of nearly 1.5 million.

The equivalent would be 900 people at a Kerry or Mayo game. Which would obviously never happen.

But but but Dublin need to be kept in croker because they always bring massive crowds.

I brought a hurl to school with me for a match in the early 80s and Willie Conway from Dorset st said 'Here Binky, giz a go on your whorelin bat".
