A very faceless Mayo team. Outside of Hennelly, Durcan, ROD and AOS you’d hardly recognise any of the rest of them if you saw them on the street. I know plenty of the names but bar maybe McBrien with the goal against Donegal last year, very few of them have left an imprint on the general GAA public. In fact there’s far more recognisable players on the bench (6). Plus James Carr, Kobe and Darragh Beirne not in the 26 at all. Where’s Enda Hession these days? Or that Eoin McLaughlin that John Small nearly decapitated?
