It’s buckfast season in Scotland.
The twin Irish capitals of Buckfast are Galway and Armagh, most especially Lurgan. The two counties play off annually for the Buckfast Quaich, an item of silverware which is at stake again next Saturday.
I’ve attended two Armagh matches and one Galway match in the last month and disappointingly I didn’t see one bottle of Buckfast at either.
