The stand on the right of the camera shot with the big block of Highbury style corporate boxes was redeveloped about 10 or 12 years ago into what it is now.
But originally when the Parken Stadium was opened in 1992 (I think the 0-0 v Ireland was the first game) it incorporated this stand from the previous stadium on the site, the Idraetspark.
The direction of the pitch was changed with the new stadium and the stand which previously ran along the side of the pitch was now at one of the ends.
I know nothing about football and I’m at best half paying attention to this Denmark v Scotland game. On what basis was that a potential red card check for the Scotland player? Seemed totally ludicrous. He got a yellow card. I have no idea why he even got a yellow card.
I too am listening to records or attempting to play along with records.
As far as I could see it was a mistimed attempt at a header, there was a possible nudge by the Danish player and probably wouldn’t have been a clear goalscoring chance even had the ball run through. I’d at best a free kick to Denmark.
