This thread is pathetic
excuse me?
Watch The Break always liked to portray himself as some sort of heroic socialist revolutionary, fighting the battles of the little people - but from his user name it was obvious he was just a filthy capitalist pigdog stooge of the advertising industry.
Which username was this, there were a few.
Ya, there is a bit of that in it. I heard an accountant frien if mine once say “I’m a capitalist with a Socalist conscience”. What utter horse shit. You get alot of that lip service though.
What’s your own viewpoint Kev?
You can be a socialist and like nice things. I like ice cream for instance.
On what?
Capitalist, socialist, whatever? You seem down on capitalism recently but I’ve never seen you advocate a socialist viewpoint.
What’s your view on socialists who like champagne, Kev?
I would have thought I would have always indicated a strong socialist view but I don’t get involved in the conversations too much.
I believe the whole world is fucked and dreadfully inbalanced, but I just get on with it and not worry about it too much. I see a lot if people though, here and in general, so stuck up their own arse and so lost about what’s really important.
I believe certain trades and professions get paid way way to much more than others and years and years of capitalism has pushed people into employment they don’t even like just for money. Accountancy is absolutely one of these. Why should a guy who can count well get so much more than a skilled tradesman? It makes no sense when you stand back and look at it.
Obviously recently this has been magnified because people have been sold out by accountants and other business people so badly. And this has probably awoken my Socalist side somewhat, even though it was always there. I grew up reading about Connolly, Larkin etc and admire that Socalist Republican out look.
Is that enough for ya?
seems to be an awful lot of Robin Hood type characters floating about here
what’s wrong with earning an honest living and paying tax?

I think Kev is trying to say accountants and the like, who pay tax, are not honest. If they were honest they would reduce their wage to that of a plasterer or chippie’s…
A few years ago a plasterer or a chippy would have had to reduce his wage to match an accountant.
That’s a pretty retarded way of looking at what I said.
Just because people have a different viewpoint dosent make it retarded kev

That’s most comprehensive Kev thanks. It’s hard to tally with your admiration for Healy Rae but life is complex like that.
Your own view is more than retarded all on its own, Kevin.
Absolute horse shit.
No it’s not
