A Fresh Discussion on the merits of Zlatan, with particular regard to his effectiveness in the EPL in 2016/17

Zlatan owned the EPL 5 years past his best.

The facts, as usual, go against your opinion. In his first year there they finished 6th. His second season he barely played and was turfed out half way through. Utd finished 2nd without him, an improvement of 4 places.

In his first season he scored 22 goals in English football before rupturing his PCL in April.

He contributed to United having their second worst finish to a Premier League season. They finished 2nd the next season. The facts tell a different story to your opinion, again.

That’s a serious clamping.

That’s nonsensical. United won three trophies that year, more than Muderpool have won in a decade.

Finishing 6th is not owning the league you bullshitter.

17 league goals in his best season.

Mo had 17 by Christmas

He was the top marksman in the EPL for the majority of the season before injury. He was 35. A 35 year past it striker tore up the EPL. He said it was easy.

He tore up the league with 17 league goals

Dele Alli scored more that season you clown.

Yes. He was one of the top scorers for most of the league but suffered a season ending injury. He won more trophies with Man Utd than Kane has won with Spuds.

He got injured on April the 20th so probably missed at most 3 games.

Why are you bullshitting to the forum yet again?

What has Alli done since? Zlatan was 35, whats Alli’s excuse?

Excuse for what?

He outscored Zlatan that season. Fact.

6 games and 3 before that with a suspension. Kane scored 7 goals in his last 2 games against relegation threatened sides.

Harry won the golden boot, Zlatan came 7th.

Kane won the golden boot by scoring goals against cannon fodder. The guy even lies on his daughters life to claim goals he didn’t score. He is scum.
