Privately-educated George Owen subjected to a 19-month court ordeal before being cleared in just over two hours.
We’ll never know whether he did or didn’t but seen as he was found innocent in a court of law it seems unfair for the chap to be splashed all over the press. Surely he has the right to privacy until the case is decided?
Social media seems to play an increasing role in this kind of trial in giving a contemporaneous view of a person’s thoughts at a given time.
The practice in the U.K. Is different.
