The fact that the article reports a comment from this headbanger saying there is widespread antisemitism in Ireland shows how unbalanced the reporting is even in Ireland. The Irish times is as bad as RTÉ.
I think it’s right position as not “anti-Israel”. Anti everything Israel is doing rather. He should have gone on to condemn Israel’s ongoing degradation of all the rules he referred to for sure.
Is it only here that they have closed their embassy? Have they done the same in South Africa or any of the other countries supporting South Africas case against Israel in the International Court of Justice?
I recall Colombia expelled the Israeli ambassador (so shutting the embassy, cutting diplomatic ties). I think a few others in south America have. I did a quick Google and can’t see about their embassy in south Africa, I’d be surprised if it’s still maintained.
