A new low for Israel. How low can they go?

Israel have history here in relation to peace deals.
I’m not hopeful of lasting peace.

I’ve trying to find out where these lines that they are retreating to are on a map, but I’m not finding any details unfortunately.

The first signs will be obvious if the 400 trucks of aid due into Gaza per day are allowed in or not…

Naw man, ā€˜Banging hoes and closing shows, he’s only gone and done it’ Trump brings peace to the Middle East.

Headline in the Telegraph.

Naw.

This is one step forward and two steps back for Israel.

Time will tell….
I’ll eat humble pie.

Some disaster for the Trinity student union if there’s peace in Gaza. What will they do at all?

Great that anyone protesting against genocide is open to snide remarks such as this.

We are in peace time now mate. The situation needs levity

Two people killed in the West Bank yesterday by Israeli forces sounds peaceful

You’re better than that mate.

Gaza is perfect for them, as it is for our government. They can ignore all the problems they might actually solve or have a shred of responsibility for and focus on a far away issue that they can’t make one iota of difference on.

ā€œLet’s shut up and stay silent while the Israeli’s commit a genocideā€. Your empathy is admirable

I’ve done more practical things to help Palestinians settle in Ireland than you’ll do in one thousand lifetimes mate

In your free time or as part of your employment?

Both. Why does it matter?

Because that’s a hollow enough boast if you are getting paid to do it

Just like apartheid.

Those striking workers were idiots.

I wasn’t boasting.

I’m just very cynical of the motivations of a lot of the protesters.

Some of whom ARE being paid

Yet you don’t appear cynical about trumps motivations at all ever?

Yes and there are influencers also being paid or honeytrapped by Israel also. That is part and parcel of modern propaganda.

There are also plenty of volunteers who have been espousing the Palestinian cause for years, when there was little fame or attention to be got from it.

Regarding the Student union; drawing attention the goings on in Gaza and the West Bank has been a cause of left wing politics in this country long before the current impasse.

One thing our government has been consistent on is the rights of Palestinians and is one thing I’d applaud them for, being one of the few countries that have spoken up. But maybe they should just ignore it altogether focus on one issue at a time.

I’m very cynical about the motivations of a lot of posters on this forum.

Our course I am. He’s a politician.
