some well made constructive points above however … there is a lack of understanding of Jewish people there… Judaism if the religion of the Jewish race…on their backgrounds - the holocaust in Europe is only part of it , there is massive internal racism amongst the Ashkenazim (european) and Mizrakim ( middle eastern ) jews that people who havent been to israel have no idea exists… the most militant and right wing of all are the Mizrakim , they are the closest things to arabs you will find, have been shat upon by their ashkenazim state founders and suffered horrific artrocities in north africa and places like yemen, iran and iraq that are almost as bad as the european holocaust but its not remembered…Holocaust memorial day in israel isnt even about them, the Mrs for example wouldnt pause for it as she is north african… these peolle are the founding members of the likud movement and the Israeli right…
arabs by and large utterly despise jews- now the only place in the world where they lived peacefully togther up till now was in places like Haifa, akko, the galilee tel aviv and bat yam but now there are forces there sparking race based rioting…

I have a feeling this won’t work out well for Israel in the long term . American opinion may be slowly ebbing away for unconditional support for the state . It is still very strong overall but politicians will read the tea leaves too .

Oddly enough it was always the Democrats that got the Jewish vote .
The Republicans are not in power and may not be for a while . There have been sizeable demonstrations in US during the last few days .
We will see but I sense that the mood might be changing .

Jewish Americans would be strongly Democrat. you’ll find that very few Jewish or Israeli people abroad, outside the internal masses in Lod, Ashdod , etc would be that supportive of their policy towards engaging with Hamas
