I saw a comment before that the vast majority of US aid to Israel is unvouched for, as in they hand over cash and don’t know what it’s spent on. It was surmised that it was making its way straight back to the US in political donations. I’ve never seen much more on it but it has the ring of truth to me. Maybe @MogwaiC86 has more info.

I’ve been hearing this stuff for years, decades, about people supposedly “waking up” to what Israel is.
Nothing ever changes. Nothing ever will change.
Israel has the power and its power only increases. You go online and you’re met with a wall of propagandists for Israel, most of whom hold major positions of inflluence within “respectable” western institutions.
Behind them are a million bots.
That’s where the power is now.
Palestine will cease to exist (if you hold that exists at all now) and nobody will have done anything.
It’s fucking sick, but what will happen is people will turn to Tucker Carlson. Who is a real anti-Semite and an agent of Russia. But he’s also a gifted con man of the Simpsons monorail type who speaks language that appeals to people who consider themselves “left”. Enough of them will vote for him if he goes for it, which he surely will.
Carlson will do fuck all to Israel but he will be a real anti-Semite with power who whips up real racism against Jews and real danger for Jews.
Carlson will have happened because every non-fascist who ever tried in any small way to contribute in good faith to changing things was either destroyed, marginalised, silenced by the Israel lobby or in many cases gave up or gave in.
