Royal Eye & Ear, D2

Now all you need to disclose is the exact procedure you’re getting and fells can recommend a parking space

Not me, the auld lad.

Would you not just drive in and park in the nearest carpark?

No.

Ditto. I got comfortable driving in the North Side eventually because I absolutely had to. One I’m in the city centre or the south side though, forget it.

We’re just not built for it

you could stop in Naas or Sallins and get a commuter train in.

Years of cycling around the city as a poor student gave me great confidence when driving; you get familiar with all the different lanes, one way streets, no right turns and rat runs

Cork City centre is as bad. I’d only drive in there in an absolute worst case scenario. 90% of the time it’s the train from Midleton

The green line is much handier for the Adelaide. Drive down to Dundrum and park in the shopping centre and straight in then. Oxo as the man says.

If you’re planning to stop out at red cow and then get the Luas in you’d be better off parking in Limerick altogether, save yourself the drive and get a bus or train up.

Its when those one way streets and varying no left or right turns start to flip on you from trip to trip is when you start to marginally doubt yourself.

It’s hardly Rome they are driving into.

It’s probably the only city I’d not drive in again.

If he’s up to it, I really like walking there from heuston through crumlin and that. About 40 mins, maybe less.

If he parks in Sandyford. He’ll get a space any time. the Luas stops at harcourt street. Five minute walk and no changing.

I’d only drive in Cork in this

I’d have no issue driving straight into the city. However the flak I would receive from Paw for doing so would not be worth it. I found a space in Red Cow LUAS car park fortunately. They were at a premium, I beat a hot blonde lady driving an Audi A6 to it by seconds.

You could have asked him to drive in after you had braved the M7

Do Muldoons still come up to the capital in early December.

There was an article posted on here a while back about the planned & abandoned road system for Dublin back in the 60s that explained a lot of the mysterious elements of the street network, the randomly disappearing lanes and so forth. Was very interesting in an extremely nerdy way.
