Proper ham
Was dingus.
Smoked brisket, red onion, cheese and mustard with salt and vinegar crisps
purchased from Tir, the arches, hatch street, d2
You’re supposed to list where it was purchased
And your own efforts of scattering crisps detracts from the original aesthetics.
ill amend the post.
i didnt add crisps, they come with the sandwich and are inserted by the capable staff of Tir
Magnificent.
I’d ate that.
This is a noble thread.
A tad too much notions so far for my liking, smoked briskets and Doritos on a plate and the like. A photo from the car of a breakfast roll on a fella’s lap will set us straight.
The tone has been set lads are afraid to show their true colours but yeah we need a roaster roll in here asap.
I’ll probably be in J14 or the likes tomorrow so I’ll go proper roaster if so. I stopped into Chawkes actually today. I was in the Castletroy area and was caught as I needed to drop the kids to the pool before going for a run at UL so swung in there. The deli was hopping and looking well.
It’s a very solid Deli.
My parents are moving close by. I’ll be visiting it more frequently
Elm Park will be nice for them mate in their retirement years.
It will feel like they’re on holidays (staying in a cabin)
Jaysus. I could have hit you with a stone. I was in the japanese on baggot st bridge for lunch. A poke bowl and some sashimi. Fabulous.
Nolan’s in Kilkee do an exceptional deli sandwich. Their standard roll is half a full baguette.
I worked in Kilkee for nearly three years. In the winter, he was one of the few places open. I ate a lot of those rolls. I was a young man then.
It’s a broad church. It can be fellas with hang sandwiches covered in tin foil eaten from the boot of a car in a makeshift field in Thurles to a few D4 heads with sourdough ciabattas.
Surely an overfilled ham and coleslaw baguette with loads of butter is the baseline here. A roaster lunch.
