Celtic dominated possession for the game. Think we had >80% in the first 20 minutes.
Shape was similar to recent weeks.

But nothing like that really. The midfield was Brown deepest, Ntcham ahead on the left. Sinclair further ahead on the left. Rogic further ahead again but more right. Forrest and Tierney as wing backs but with almost a back 4 when they had the ball in our half, which was almost never.
Anyway, controlled possession but on a shit pitch. Couple of long balls over the top nearly got Brown and then Rogic in and a couple of other near misses from those attempts. Otherwise it was difficult and they were just waiting for set pieces to bring their big guys forward.
After 20 mins the game got even for a while. They created a few crosses from deep which should have been harmless but weren’t. Lustig caught out by a May run on one. Actually Arnasan had one early on too that he should have scored, not sure who he lost.
Ajer was commanding in the middle of the defence but not sure who’s not picking up on set pieces because they seemed to have a couple of free men a few times today. Simunovic was very hesitant on one side and Lustig was worse on the other side of him.
After half an hour we got on top again. Rogic back involved heavily but couldn’t quite link up. Ntcham hit the post with a lovely effort, Dembele and Rogic both missed 1v1s and then we got the goal from a Forrest cross. Saw out the half on top.
Second half was similar enough really. They kept everyone back. They had no press on at all and they just relied on a shit pitch and kicking the shit out of us (as most teams in the SPL seem to attempt). But they didn’t create anything still really. Couple of half chances but nothing great.
Lustig then sent off for a terrible pass and then hacking his man down. They finally got a few bodies forward and we picked them off on the break.
Lots of needle in the game. McLean was throwing shapes all the time. Few bad tackles. That McKenna lad had a really poor tackle on Ajer in the first half and another bad one on Brown. They were trying to bully us but we stood up well - Ajer and Brown in particular.
Second goal on the break was fantastic and that killed the contest.
Good performance in difficult conditions against a big team who were very much up for it.
