Aberdeen v Celtic ☘

Bitton in for Simunovic. Frimpong back in the squad. Bayo for Klimala on the bench.

Think Bayo was on the bench Wednesday too.

Happy enough with that.

Hopefully the weather conditions aren’t too bad and good to see Frimpong return. Bitton probably a better fit to the back three than Simunovic.

Big one today as a win mounts more pressure on the huns and will put us 13 clear, for a couple of hours at least. It’s very important we keep our foot firmly on their throats.

I will miss this as I’m hitting the road shortly.

Mon the hoops.

Is Simunovic injured again?

I’d presume he’s just being eased back in, Rodgers was generally reluctant to have him play 3 games in a week etc so maybe Lennon is taking similar advice form his medical staff.

1-1.

Poor defending.

Ah crap

Second phase from a set piece. Griffiths pretty much ignored the scorer, possibly on basis it wasn’t his man, but he should have got goal side. Feel like I may be nitpicking on Ajer a bit this season but felt he could have went in stronger and cut out the cross.

Celtic under pressure here. Aberdeen playing with the gale behind them and pinning Celtic back.

Think we are playing them at their own game too much. Obviously conditions are a factor but we’ve stopped trying to play through them. We should be able to take on their press and get Edouard and Griffiths more involved with balls to feet.

Christie for Griffiths. Celtic gone to a back four.

Hayes came on for the injured Taylor in the first half and has been very poor.

A real lack of combination play so far @Rocko has said.

My goodness Hayes has been appalling.

Great move there, first and only one of second half so far. Hayes denied by Lewis one on one when cut back was on.

That’s me away to Chadwicks Wexford Park.

Let’s hope we can hang on.

Brilliant goal there. Quality by Eddy and Forrest and a smashing, composed finish by Ajer.

What a first touch from Edouard. Great patience by Forrest too and that’s a fine finish.

He’s been dreadful. Outmuscled frequently and can’t find a cross.

Ajer was in our box when Forster kicked that. Smashing run from him to get on the end of it.
