I’d also like to acknowledge the commentary team again. Supporters of Aberdeen, but clear, unbiased and unhysterical, they were a pleasant change.
CCV is very strong in the air, but as a unit, we don’t really seem to be. It’s like watching a Galway goalie.
The last Celtic game I was at was home to Aberdeen about 10 years ago. Their supporters in the away corner spent most of the game signing “we hate rangers more than you”. I’ve had a soft spot for the club ever since.
I can’t really remember us looking comfortable on any plastic pitch yet this season. I can half understand them in parts of Scotland, but they most definitely give an advantage to the team’s used to them.
Willie Garner was the co-commentator. He played for Celtic a couple of times. Think he had something like 3 own goals in 4 appearances. But has ties to both clubs anyway.
It’s been a bonus over the years that Aberdeen really really hate sevco.
What was the other tough away game? The 0-4 away win at Motherwell last Saturday?
With stats like that it sounds like it.
Rangers fans celebrating Aberdeen’s quick fire 2 goal burst…but then news filters through of another goal at Pittodrie.
Jota and Hart seem to have great rapport.
I don’t mean to go all Roy Curtis but O Riley has a regal presence on a football field …
Agreed
right from when he joined he looked the real deal
what a bargain
Before @thedancingbaby time but I remember against Betis when we fielded a midfield of Soro Shaw and McCarthy
