Abortion Referendum Thread

Your contributions to this thread have been very curious. You clearly know the square root of absolutely nothing about the issue, and yet for some reason you seem intent on making the thread all about you.

Any chance you might fuck off?

Do you have kids by the way? If not, then surely (if you think there should be more children) you should (like cilice dandi) get on with having a few? It might keep you busy, less time for sprouting irrationality on TFK.

One of the last stings of the No wasp has been to peddle a bizarre strand of constitutional fetishisation which asserts that the Constitution is the only place where rights are found, @maroonandwhite giving a perfect snapshot of that today.

No, the logic is it feels wrong to kill people

Iā€™m off to beat a beloved donkey to death in public to test @maroonandwhiteā€™s hypothesis.

Yet amazingly youā€™re still for the 8th Amendment.

Are you able to envisage any scenario where the presence of a right to life of the unborn in the Constitution would not in some way infringe upon the rights of the mother?

Who is in favor of killing people? If you honestly think that taking an abortion pill which induces a miscarriage at say 6-8 weeks is killing people, then you are firmly in the Cicero camp. That is exclusively a religious nutter argument.

Hrs ok with abortion, just as long as itā€™s done abroad. Then itā€™s ā€œworkableā€

You have destroyed them. The Yes voters donā€™t like being reminded on what the referendum on the matter is, the killing of unborn babies.

Its a balancing of rights. If both fine and healthy, both have a right to life. If mothers life in danger, then that can supercede it.

I firmly believe taking that pill prevents a life, if you dont think that, whos the nutter

If he was OK with killing unborn babies, he would vote yes, like you. Heā€™s not so heā€™s voting to protect the rights of unborn babies, unlike you.

Heā€™s alright with the unborn getting killed, as long as itā€™s in the UK. Do keep up.

So you have the same objections to morning after pills, contraceptive pills and condoms, seeing as they ā€œprevent a lifeā€?

The vote is not on the UKā€™s abortion laws.

Keep up.

How are you voting?

So does not procreating, or deciding to have two rather than ten children. Or worst of all deciding not to have sex like your Opus Dei buddy.
