Absolute cuntfests: a log

A 5 per cent levy on new bike sales would pay for the required infrastructure.

No mate. We will have to pay for it out of our wages

It’s weird that your most vocal complaint is about people complaining about things

To use your own argument, you shouldn’t be complaining about people complaining about things if you aren’t lying down in front of the City Council offices protesting about homelessness

Complaining about people complaining about things is itself a frivolous complaint

First world problems, as somebody said

TFK is a great place for crude lowest common denominator “arguments” that you’d expect from the likes of Richard Littlejohn

It’s almost like these “arguments” are transparently crude devices to try and discredit and stop all campaigning for any sort of progesssive change in society

You haven’t disappointed here

I’m saying people should prioritise their complaints. If someone is homeless and starving, and someone is worried about where they cycle their bike, my sympathy goes to the hungry bloke.

Your sympathy seems to go whichever way the wind is blowing. You can fuck progressive if that’s what you think progression is.

You sanctimonious arsehole

The far right want segregation in schools but want cyclists and lorries to mix

Weird

I’m not being sanctimonious in the slightest, I’m taking the piss out of you by using the ludicrous, caricatured sanctimoniousness of your own posts to hoist you with your own petard

The driver checks his mirrors before making the left turn to ensure they are not going to endanger a cyclist travelling on their left. Personally I would always give the cyclist the right of way. As the operator of a mechanically propelled vehicle the motorist has a greater level of responsibility to avoid collisions than a cyclist or pedestrian.

It’s common sense really, the government have an awful lot to do to provide better facilities for cyclists but motorists also need to be more aware of the others they’re sharing the roads with.

Conversely cyclists need to consider that motorists can make mistakes and be aware of the dangers involved in cycling on busy roads.

Cyclists don’t make mistakes

It’s almost like facts are irrelevant to him

I’m a left wing conservatist so I want schools segregated and road users and cyclists segregated.

If anyone ever does an anthropological study and somehow tfk servers survive, the last couple hundred posts are exactly where society fucked up.

Lycra clad wankers want money taken out of public funds so they can cycle past a poor cunt eating off a piece of cardboard on their way to work, without having a license or learning how to cycle fucking safely.

What about the homeless guy? Fuck him. I need to cycle to work and tell everyone how great I am, then put my vegan lunch in the microwave and tell everyone how socially unaware they are to be eating actual food.

Sure why put money into hospitals or schools when it could go to homelessness?

So a cycle lane is of equal importance to you as a hospital or school?

Fix housing and starving Irish people first. A cycle lane, is very, very far down the list.

Yep, the government should just choose one key issue and pump all the expenditure into that. Let’s just put Education, Heathcare, Infrastructure, Social Welfare etc. on hold, even for just a year

Prioritization mate. Are you saying a cycle lane is equal to the issues you’ve stated.

Fix one first. Starving Irish people. Fix the fundamentaly broken health system. Fix welfare. Fix education.

Get a license, learn to ride safely. Then come back looking for somewhere to ride your bike

I think hospitals and schools are more important but that doesn’t mean I don;t think SEGREGATED cycle lanes are not important too

I’m just saying that based on your argument that homelessness is the number one problem in society and other things can wait, all funds would be taken out of hospitals and schools and put into addressing homelessness

No, that’s you being a dickhead.

My argument is that money shouldn’t be taken out of public funds to facilitate guys cycling a bike while these other issues exist.

No, don’t think anybody is suggesting that.
