Accountants & Solicitors In Hot Water Thread

another gambling addicted gaa player

The good old blame it on a vice trick ha.

There was a solicitor from Limerick caught stealing over a quarter of a million from an elderly clients account about 3 years ago. He ran for the hills at the time. He’s back in business now though. Not a word about it.

Who was that?

That’ll teach him to put the Dubs out in 93.

That’s a very naive view of things.

Big hefty guy immaculately dressed. A major milker of free legal aid boyo. As if the cunt wasn’t already a millionaire off the state, he thought it necessary to steal the life savings of an elderly client. He must have said sorry and gave it back. I don’t name names on the internet mate.

What?

Post up a link to the newspaper story sure

No.

Dark curly headed fella?

No.

I won’t be drawn on this. Google it.

Fair straight haired fella?

Dismayed to see the accounting profession dragged into this thread for no good reason.

Is Johnny McGurk not an accountant?

No.

When the paper of record reported this back in October, they referred to him as accountant.

That tallies with my recollection of what was listed as his job/profession back in his playing days. I’ll dig out the 1993 All Ireland Football Final programme tonight to confirm.

I doubt he is Chartered. There is no other reputable qualification.

There are scumbags in every profession brian. No reason accounting shouldn’t bear its own burden.
