Collingwood just winning everywhere here, Geelong havenât turned up.
Very good all things considered. Had a couple of really good chase downs and tackles on Saad which is a great indicator of his fitness, going up against a speedster and matching and beating him. Did well in the ruck and didnt look out of place. Was used sparingly, but was effective. Lucky in ways to get away with a fine when he fucked Zach Merrett into the fence for pulling his hair. Eagles played very well, but it was only Essendon.

Yeah, looking dead and buried already. Have scored 3 goals since my last post. goal there now might spark a bit of life back into them. Need a couple more before the break to have any sort of chance.

Yeah Ryan can be great when it goes well. His style being so free flowing and instinctive means that he is liable to fuck up other time, one where Kennedy had position to try mark or contest and Ryan launched in and took them both out of it and Geelong cleared easily. But you have to take those sort of errors or structural type plays going wrong when you have a player like him who plays on instinct rather than structure. If his set shot at the end went through it would have been a fantastic finish to the half considering the start. 10 down at the break though, will take that considering it was 32 during the second quarter.
