That’s certainly the reason I moved over.
I remember somebody in the past describing TFK as a site with plenty of smart folk who don’t take themselves too seriously. While AFR is full of simpletons who try to act all serious and smart.
It used to be excellent from around 2004 - 2007 with posters like Hud and Gunther. Nowadays, I’d only look in there to get the odd bit of info on the Limerick hurling scene.
Thats a pretty good summation Phil, its become a very sad site and pretty much most of the “posters” are just Liam himself.
For myself though, I like to get my info on the Limerick hurling scene from TFK.

Had a read of that earlier. Was from some time in 2007. Some lad called ‘outcast’ was berating everyone who was questioning the value of shares like anglo. DanCarter weighed in telling him how dead right he was.
Dan must have lost a fortune on the bank shares. Of course he will row in now and tell us how he sold out at the top of the market.
He got them for nothing didn’t he so it’s only a paper loss.
