Logged into my LinkedIn account for the first time in months, and right there looking out at me from my “Suggested Connections” is Liam Cahill. :strokechin:
Lost count the amount of times he’s tried to add me on various social media. Think he finally got the message.
I just googled Liam Cahill and it appears that he is an auld lad or he used to hurl for Tipperary.
He still sends emails to accounts that he’s banned.
A shameless spammer.
What hasn’t changed
We’ve maintained the familiar ‘look and feel’ and navigation of previous versions of AFR
More importantly, we’ve strengthened our commitment to building and maintaining a space for the ordinary GAA fan. We are of the GAA. We respect its history and traditions as well as being mindful of its future. But we are not beholden to it.
We hope that AFR is the best online source for original comment, discussion, craic, controversy in GAA, as well as the best in online GAA journalism – for both news and features
Apart from Gaelic football and hurling, we give consistent and extensive coverage to Camogie, Ladies Gaelic football and Handball – including regular photo reports.
Ninety nine per cent of our content is original. Exceptionally, we carry stories from overseas media or local newspapers that you might not normally see. Less frequently, if a national newspaper carries an item of comment that we think is particularly interesting and worth debating, we will carry that as well. In all cases, we identify and fully attribute the origin of any such items. In this way, we keep you up to date but in a way that is fair to other people originating GAA material.
some funny shit went on over there yesterday with the clare v waterford minor game thread
What happened?
I see SS**'s two Limousin Cattle threads have been made stickies over on the slurrypit today.
Don’t get what the big fuss was about them, some farmers telling a few yarns about some livestock. Mildly amusing at best
I wonder why the resurrected? Did he find out that the letter from the Limousin Breeders Association wasn’t as genuine as he may have though?
I see the place is in meltdown with fellas claiming there are too many football threads and that AFR is dying. Cahill came out with numbers to suggest the place is busier then ever… Some lad has lost it and started a ‘best of’ thread for every county in both codes over the last 50 years to show his displeasure and knock all the football threads off the front page.
Disgraceful scenes.
good man turenne
Have you experienced the loading, hearding, handling, corralling of Limousine cattle ???
Christ the place is fucked
Smashing contribution from Kev.
Top notch.
I find it odd this site ‘grew’ out of AFR, the sense of humour of both forums seems completely different.
That’s why the users here were banned from AFR. Too hilarious and banterous for kayhill to handle
Exactly. Tfkers are too with it for those squares on AFR.
