Ah that’s it!

The gimp responsible for this gem:

I’ve heard the names of the people over them and I have never heard of any of them playing as much as club hurling in Clare before.

The County Board are yet again at fault here for picking people like this to manage our minor teams - we have had this problem for over 10 years and for 10 years, we have been a laughing stock in Munster at this grade. The fact of the matter is that these guys year in year out know nothing about hurling or preparing an inter-county side - they might be ok with a bundle of under 14s but not for anything even remotely like this level.

The officers of the county board responsible for this select ion should be suspended from all GAA grounds in the county and a full investigation launched as to why we have ended up in this situation again - and on top of that this shambles of a management should be asked to step down.

Three Munster championships dickhead.

Wasnt the only one to get that one wrong and held my hands up after the Tipp game to say as much. A lot of people were fairly angry after that game. Its an internet forum - or was an internet forum after all.

And thick cunt has a go at you about being a keyboard warrior “popping away at people on the internet” when he spent his time on AFR spouting vile racist abuse about people he’d never met. You couldn’t make it up. What an asshole

The internet is serious business and the sooner you realise that the better.
TFK is delighted to announce the website has secured the services of experienced forum administrator Liam Cahill on a Bosman free internet discussion board transfer.

Cahill’s contract with an Irish owned and developed forum software programme was surprisingly terminated by mutual consent late last night.

TFK beat off several other interested parties to tie the free agent down to a 1-year junior moderator deal with an option for a further year.

Cahill has since expressed his excitement at moving to a forum based around an internationally developed “off the shelf” software package.

A press conference to unveil TFK’s new signing has been shelved, with Cahill’s representatives querying whether such an anachronistic parade in front of the media was necessary.

Cahill will have responsibility for moderating the largely defunct Beat The Bookies forum and will report into Moderator-In-Chief Le Dunph.

The new signing will also be charged with slashing TFK’s spiralling costs having successfully operated An Fear Rua on a measly €150k spend over the last 10 years.
Thrilled to welcome Liam on board. He’s a mod we’ve had our eye on for a while and I think it’s credit to the posters on here, and to the generous financial backing provided by Tunnocks Tea Cakes, that we were able to secure his signature.

Cahill will start off in a conventional moderator role on our lesser boards but it’s only a matter of time before he graduates to looking after TweetFK also. The opportunity to participate in the less anachronistic social media outlets was a key factor in luring him here. That and a generous photobucket storage allowance.

Shame you cant go back and read everything I had to say in full on that site and make up your own mind rather than listening to that stupid cunt.

your language and tone are a disgrace

N16 is an alright sort. A welcome addition to the site.

You can still get threads back if you know what you’re looking for. For example: http://www.anfearrua…aspx?id=104210

I’m not staying Runt. I signed up last October but just didnt warm to the place. Had only 7 posts before today.
AFR did go down hill, no question and not surprised it closed. You may get a few over from that site or something else will come along. I signed up on boards a year or so ago but any opinion at all there on GAA matters in censored.
Somewhere else will come along in time, AFR was great for staying in touch with club GAA and how IC team challenge matches were going etc. There’s a gap there now and someone will find some way of filling it in due course.
Sorry if my tone etc has offended you All Seeing Eye.

What about opinions on black people?

Lookit if you’re not staying then fuck off with your shite and stop filling the forum with your drivel. Nobody here gives a monkeys what you think.

see you then mate

Dont know too many of them that play hurling wtb. Was on on the GAA part of the forum.

You’re a great addition N16. I say stick it out sure.
