African Cup of Nations

Was mentioned here the other night.

Salah only has himself to blame there. It was inevitable that he would end up in the Ronaldo 2012 situation sooner or later. Just lucky it wasn’t for Liverpool.

Your top penalty taker should be at minimum in the first three, as they’re the only three you’re guaranteed to get to take. And your top three takers should be your first three to go.

In reality your best taker should go first, because every scored penalty can psychologically effect the takers of the later penalties.

Klopp has ruined him

Most enjoyable shoot out since Middlesbrough went to Old Trafford two days ago and walked all over Ralf’s tricky reds.

It’s Klopps fault Egypt loss tonight.

100%.

Klopp would have had Salah first in any Liverpool shootout. Fabadonna probably second now, unless Jimmy Milner on the field?

No way he’d have him 5th that’s for sure. Mo made that call himself tonight & throughout the tournament.

Poor management from Egypt if so

You’d have to say the blame lies with Carlos Queiroz Mo would have taken a penalty at any stage I’d imagine.

THIS MEANS MO

No two ways about it really. A wanker thing to do. Especially when you know you have a savage keeper. Just keep scoring and you win. In fairness you wouldn’t have begrudged the Egyptians for the sheer balls of having hung in there and could well have nicked it but Senegal were the better side throughout. But ultimately Salah was the difference.

:grinning:

At least we know Salah won’t go home and dig the head off his wife and then rape her for a laugh.

Coach Klopp signing and developing two African players into the two biggest names in World football.

Mane lad was unreal there.

Great club men, National icons. Unfortunately only one of our generational talents could win tonight.

The best penalty taker should be able to score at any time, No?

Go first. Get the goal on the board.
