Seemingly the bhoy was sensational yesterday. A hand in the first goal and a mazy dribble and left foot strike off the post allowing Vinegar Hill to tap in the winner from the rebound. Probably the most on-form Irish squad member at the moment but still don’t think Staunton will throw him in away from home. Don’t think I’d play both him and Doyle myself but I’d play one or the other anyway.

Richie Dunne was also excellent yesterday. He’s of some importance to us now because of the lack of other options there. Still can’t see us getting anything out of it though all ther same.

So Sunderland seem to think as well. They’ve told Aidan to find another employer in Jan.
A bit of hi-jinx on the training ground appears to have been the straw that finally done for him. Indifferent on-field form another factor. Clubs highest paid player too.
