I’ve just placed a handy wager on Petra Kvitova on betfair(4.4) to win outright. Wimbledon brings out the best in her, she won it 2 years ago and to be honest there’s little competition left. She’s up next on Centre Court, hopefully I haven’t given her the kiss of death. Go Czech
Petra’s pot belly is not inspiring me with much confidence here.
In with a great chance anyway but the belly is a worry all right. Nothing compared with how fat bartoli is. I hope and think lisicki will do it.
She made hard work of it serving for the set Kvitova takes the 1st 6-4. Her mobility is poor but her placing of the ball is a joy to behold.

Except for the times she’s bumped into Serena, Kvitova has won 19 games in a row at Wimbledon. She’s not having it all her own way here though, Flipkens is looking resolute and composed and just won’t go away. Kvitova is clearly not fully fit and doesn’t look 100% healthy, frankly she looks like she’s hungover. It’s 4 games each in the 3rd
