Very weak opposition up until the SF stage.
Nadal doesn’t play a seeded player until R4. When he plays 13 seed Cilic
Coric and Nishikori could cause him problems. If he gets to Nishikori, it will be a 5 setter and that will leave him easy pickings for Nadal.
Kyrgios will drive him nuts that’s if Kyrgios can be bothered.
Former Wimbledon finalist Marin Cilic. At the same juncture Federer plays a guy who has never made it past R2 at Wimbledon.
Nadal is also slated to play no 29 seed Shapovalov in R3.
Nadal will already have been involved a number of attritional games at that point. I fancy Thiem to make the final from that side of the draw.
The only hope for Nadal is if Cilic goes before R4.

Only really Querrey could take him there, other than its plain sailing to the QF.
The rest of the draw on his side are nearly all best on clay.
I think he can be caught the first week before the grass is worn down. Querrey, Rublev and Fogini will all be tough tests for him.
