I think it’s kind of sad. He looks absolutely fucked.
The LOI seems to be doing better than ever since he left the scene ![]()
Don’t bother.
@peddlerscross probably voted for MIchael Lowry.
Maybe, maybe not. The LOI has always been boom and bust.
Dundalk were flying in Europe under his tenure for example.
The National team was in a far better place. The underage system was building up a massive head of steam before he left.
It was the little things that made Dela though. Like opening up the Aviva for the FAI Junior Cup Finals whereas its been played in kips like Jackman Park in recent times. He had Trap going around the country opening pitches and the like. He brought Pakie Bonner, Ray Houghtan etc around to schools like my own. He made Football relevant across the country and it has gone backwards at a rate of knots since his departure. Canham and Hill wouldn’t know where Kerry is for example.
Some of the stories from this did him no credit. Crashing in on weddings trying to make himself the big man and being told to fuck off out of it. Typical Paddy though, loves a gangster and pisshead.
I wouldn’t feel too sorry for him. He is/was a cowardly bully and some of the stories from his time in the FAI are absolutely shocking. He deserves everything he’s getting now. A charlatan a coward a bully and a narcissist.
It was fair doing to be become a bigger joke than his aul man.
On the eve of another Celtic-Aberdeen Scottish cup final, let us fondly recall & indeed thank Dela for providing two premium tickets to TFK admins for the 2017 renewal between the same sides when Celtic sealed the undefeated domestic treble. Rooooooooogggggiiiiicccccccc.
cc @Rocko
The man he gave the boot to because he was getting too popular amongst the FAI delegates?
