Ronnie was my favourite player, accidentally, as a kid.
I vaguely remember the USSR goal, but the one that sticks out was when we beat Northern Ireland 3-0 in the AC qualifiers and he scored one of them. Our teacher brought his telly into school so we could watch it as it was a 1pm kick off. I think the same weekend or week after I saw him play on Sports Stadium with Liverpool. My little brain couldn’t fathom how he could play for a team other than Ireland so my Dad had to explain the club system. He also told me my Nana had cousins in Liverpool. So it’s Ronnie’s fault that I’m a Liverpool Footix

Now that the matter is settled Robbie should repay the €250k he got for sitting on his hole and we all move on.
I imagine Robbie has invested that money wisely and a larger sum will return
Why? If your employer enters into a contract with you and then there is a change of management and you are “sat on the bench” through no fault of your own would you be giving your wages back to your employer or spending the day on TFK shooting the breeze
