Most important definitely
Up there with Giles, Brady and McGrath
I would have Roy Keane in there.
He’d be on the next level down. On a par with Mark Lawrenson, Ronnie Whelan and Don Givens.
Lawrenson is the best I saw play for ROI
Unfortunately he was always played out of position
He could play centre back , full back or midfield .
John O 'Shea could do all that plus play in goals.
Is versatility is coming into this then Quinn is in the conversation.
Unfortunately John O’Shea was shite for a lot of his Ireland career
Unfortunately John O’Shea was shite for a lot of his Ireland career
A hand full of colossal games but 90% were as middling and mediocre as you would expect.
Frank Stapleton was surely as good as Don Givens?
Under Kerr he was poor, same under Stan (like everyone) but he was excellent under Trap.
His best football came under Trap alright and into O’Neills reign but excellent is a slight stretch. Dunne and St Ledger gave better and more consistent performances during trap’s time.
Brian Kerr has the highest win percentage of any manager that Managed the Republic of Ireland for more than one game.
Robbie played in 24 games for Brian Kerr scoring 11. He played in 50 for traps scoring in 21

I think Givens was better.
TOD informed the nation that if Robbie gets the LA Galaxy job it was save the FAI a bit of money as Robbie still on the payroll
Hes probably still getting a wage off leeds
Unfortunately John O’Shea was shite for a lot of his Ireland career
We’d kill for him now.

Mediocre is a luxury we don’t have right now
