So it comes to pass history repeats itself 100 years later. We have the injured Connolly (@smark) lying wounded as the instigators Pearse (@Matty_Hislop) and the old militant Clarke (@ProjectX) discuss their diminishing options. They realise in order for this rebellion to be remembered there is only one fatalistic option.
Meanwhile General Maxwell (@HBV) wants blood.
Thanks everyone, Iām a bit speechless. Three months ago we came from nowhere to contest the celeb spotting election, and with little to no work done on the ground we built up a lot of momentum off the back of real public dissatisfaction with the then powers that be, and you the people voted me in in huge numbers much to the shock of all the pre election experts to become your new celeb spot adjudicator. It was straight from the fire pan into the fire. I learned the job on my feet in at the deep end. Sure, I didnāt always get it right at the start, but ye have realised that my intentions, attitude and honesty is top notch and that is sufficient for the good people of this forum. Now after my initial whirlwind start, every single adjudication I make is correct. So here we are three months later and after a vote of no confidence from the opposition, you the people have once again placed your trust in me. And for that I am grateful and we move ahead now into the future with great confidence and no uncertainty. Special thanks must go to @TreatyStones for organising this poll. Thank you young man.
Final word goes to @Brimmer_Bradley and @ProjectX who per the terms and conditions set out at the inception of this poll, the ramifications of which were commented on numerous times since the poll start and to be fair to them they never once piped up to say they didnāt agree with the terms, that if I somehow survived this vote of no confidence that the two boys would have to resign from this forum. Lads, its been great getting to know ye. Now I have a neighbour who posts on boards.is and Iām just off the phone to him. He said ye are more than welcome over there and heās expecting ye to arrive soon. So pack up your things and the best of luck in your future endeavours.
