The blue riband event of hurling and its getting played in the middle of August when half the country is abroad on holidays.

The All Ireland Hurling Final getting played on the final day of the second Ashes test. The world is gone mad. When the Ashes in England was a proper six test series, you’d have the first test played the first week in June and the sixth test at the Oval the last week in August.

Great to see all Ireland date changed. Hopefully they might go back a few weeks more. Get the all Ireland club played in calender year.
This could get ugly, we had right let the Limerick lads have at Tipp altogether, they’d have scored the 65 and bet the tar out of us in the extra time and go on to hammer Tipp too leaving us with hope for next year. The way things have panned out couldn’t be much worse for us. God help us

That’s a very good bench Kilkenny have.
Kilkenny have 10 starting on Sunday who started the 2016 final. Same 10 started their last All Ireland Final win in 2015. Serious edge on Tipperary in medals won and All Ireland winning know how. Whether all those old legs are still up to it is the big question though.
