Scan is Milltowns favourite footballing son though I don’t think he ever played senior championship for Galway. There will be some exodus of people from the parish to drinking spots in Irishtown and Ballindine if Galway win the All-Ireland this month.

Isn’t Scan a bit of a Norman Whiteside figure?
Commands as much, if not more respect than any Double All Ireland winning star? The likes of Joyce and Diviliy would still see him as a bit of a hero.
