Win two qualifier matches and you’re in the quarters.

So fcuk all difference but just that those two games are against div.2 or higher … which you’d nearly meet to reach quarters anyway ! What a cod …

Almost managed to fuck it away.

Galway should campaign to play all their home games in Castlebar. Have a great record there.

I suspect the new qualifier system might suit back door teams more.

Qualifier Round 1 is on June 4th. Round 2 on June 11th. Quarters are June 25th/26th.

Provincial finals are all on the weekend of May 28th/29th.

I think you’d rather the qualifier route rather than be sitting around for four weeks.

The backdoor wont suit mayo with their injury list

I think it will suit them more. Injured players have six weeks to get fit. Had they won today they would have had to play another two matches to reach the quarter-finals anyway.

:grinning::grinning:

I’d say the jaysus kit man will have some job scraping the brown of yere kacks.

Superb nerve holding for the footballers.

I’m sowing it in to the cunts here in Castlebar.

In Joyce we trust

Weld yourself to the high stool in Mick Byrne’s and tell them you’d love to see them winning an All-Ireland some day.

Super old school scoring in the Leinster SFC today. 5-15, 4-11, 5-10.

A great day for the eastern seaboard counties. Fortress Aughrim is back.

The lesser lights of the Leinster SFC used to give great entertainment.

Still do. A championship rich in surprises.
