All-Ireland Football Championship 2022

Youd worry slightly about the lack of goals. While they hammered the bar and post regularly against wexford, they still need to be putting a heap of them up against weaker sides. Scoring goals becomes a habit and its better to be in the habit than looking for it going into quarters…

Dubs rightfully pulled up in the second half, no point risking players with a Leinster Final Saturday week.

Meath really need to see the back of McEntee.

O’Dell looked sharp yesterday, Lahiff seems to be improving game on game to me. McCarthy is a different class, he looks to have years left in him. Not good news on Davy Byrne, he was just coming into form after a tough start to the league as well.

Theres only two serious horses in this race, and I reckon we are coming along very nicely

The McEntee clan have the whole county of Meath sewn up between them.

I heard that he brought on his son yesterday who is just back from being stationed abroad with the army and has been involved in fuck all training sessions all year.

McEntees - file under Fine Gael

Dempseys - file under Fianna Fail

The Meath County Board tried to give Andy the road but had their leash pulled fair quick.

The father, before he passed away, astutely observed that as part of their reorganization FG had targeted and taken over the GGA.

Helen seems to be about the only McEntee not involved in the Meath football set up.

If Darragh O’Se was to take his own advice and confine himself to what he does best he wouldn’t have a column.

What a stupid column. They don’t need to be good enough to play outfield, they just need to be competent in the ball.

He totally ignores how important a goalkeeper can be in The Modern Game™️ in breaking out of a press with a run. Imagine writing that and using the Monaghan v Derry game as an example, when Derry’s second goal came direct from a run from the goalkeeper and an excellent pass inside from him.
