How are the all stars looking lads?
8 dubs
3 mayo
2 each for chipp and Cavan?

Thereâs natural differences and unnatural ones. Youâre a dangerous idiot if you think what happened with Dublin was just perfectly normal, one of those things. Why didnât Dublin just get on with it and raise their standards when they couldnât win all Irelands. They wailed for more money and got tons of it. They arenât playing from a fair natural starting point. Iâm not sure if you understand that.
If Waterford got tons of funding from the gaa and started winning, would you dismiss it as one of those things? Maybe you would actually. Most right thinking people wouldnât.
Do you think if Dublin win the next 20 Leinsters, nothing wrong here, so far so good. Well actually, who knows based on your last few posts. Or the gaa could try step in and create a fair competition. Like they stepped in and created an unfair one now.
Itâs unbelievableâŚyouâd think theyâd be caught cold some dayâŚserious culture there âŚeven the video going round of them in dressing room afterâŚsinging and dancing, not a drop of drinkâŚhigh on life itself âŚa different breed.
I think James McCarthy is in the Cluxton/Shefflin mould too in setting the culture. Mick Fitzsimons also up there. Perhaps some of the others will step up and take on that leadership mantle when they go, but Iâm not sure theyâll be quite as good at it. Brian Howard is probably the most natural leader of the younger players. Youâd think a place will be found for Cluxton in the coaching team when he stops playing though. But that could actually become a hindrance.
As they say themselves, âthese are the best days of our livesâ.
They really do appreciate it.
They should be thanking the gaa and Irish taxpayers for buying them these days, especially as it means the funding prevents others enjoying them.
Thatâs a lovely rendidition of the Damo classic.
Dublin have inherent advantages. They have an exceptional group at the moment. Those two things together have brought about the current state of play. The GAA will attempt to redress the balance, but in the meantime I donât agree that everyone should give up because of it. Thatâs a pathetic attitude, and no sport would exist if people took that attitude.
If you were involved at any level yourself youâd have enough to be doing and forget about it fairly quickly.
Ah stop
I could see cluxton disappearing down the tunnel one last time never to seen near a gaa pitch ever again âŚ
How else would it finish? Helicoptered out? Jumping a fence somewhere?

Sure why didnât the rest just cycle harder instead of bitching about Lance Armstrong?
Trying to get the snide comment in then at the end. You made a few stupid contradictory points, revealed your level, and are a bit hurt. Itâs ok.
Who was talking about Lance
Carry on whinging so, youâd be no use to any club anyhow with that pathetic attitude
Lads are queueing up here, relax boys, itâs Christmas
All footballs should be punctured anyway. Give em all a hurley.
What a debater. You didnât even acknowledge the funding difference and are now purely playing the man as you realise how foolish you sound. Youâll have a headache with all this hard thinking youâve attempted.
I was replying to post that suggested he would get involved in coaching the team âŚI donât think he willâŚmight be hard for you to understand a lad not Dining out on 8 all Ireland senior medals when you see what happened your lot with one minor âŚ
Iâve acknowledged it several times. But I donât agree with giving up and pissing and moaning like a child

Lads have lost it here, even the lads who won. Itâs barely 24 hours after it was won. Itâs gonna be a cold Christmas.
