All Ireland Football Final 2020 Dublin v Mayo

How are the all stars looking lads?

8 dubs
3 mayo
2 each for chipp and Cavan?

There’s natural differences and unnatural ones. You’re a dangerous idiot if you think what happened with Dublin was just perfectly normal, one of those things. Why didn’t Dublin just get on with it and raise their standards when they couldn’t win all Irelands. They wailed for more money and got tons of it. They aren’t playing from a fair natural starting point. I’m not sure if you understand that.

If Waterford got tons of funding from the gaa and started winning, would you dismiss it as one of those things? Maybe you would actually. Most right thinking people wouldn’t.

Do you think if Dublin win the next 20 Leinsters, nothing wrong here, so far so good. Well actually, who knows based on your last few posts. Or the gaa could try step in and create a fair competition. Like they stepped in and created an unfair one now.

It’s unbelievable…you’d think they’d be caught cold some day…serious culture there …even the video going round of them in dressing room after…singing and dancing, not a drop of drink…high on life itself …a different breed.

I think James McCarthy is in the Cluxton/Shefflin mould too in setting the culture. Mick Fitzsimons also up there. Perhaps some of the others will step up and take on that leadership mantle when they go, but I’m not sure they’ll be quite as good at it. Brian Howard is probably the most natural leader of the younger players. You’d think a place will be found for Cluxton in the coaching team when he stops playing though. But that could actually become a hindrance.

As they say themselves, “these are the best days of our lives”.

They really do appreciate it.

They should be thanking the gaa and Irish taxpayers for buying them these days, especially as it means the funding prevents others enjoying them.

Dublin have inherent advantages. They have an exceptional group at the moment. Those two things together have brought about the current state of play. The GAA will attempt to redress the balance, but in the meantime I don’t agree that everyone should give up because of it. That’s a pathetic attitude, and no sport would exist if people took that attitude.

If you were involved at any level yourself you’d have enough to be doing and forget about it fairly quickly.

Ah stop

I could see cluxton disappearing down the tunnel one last time never to seen near a gaa pitch ever again …

How else would it finish? Helicoptered out? Jumping a fence somewhere?

Sure why didn’t the rest just cycle harder instead of bitching about Lance Armstrong?

Trying to get the snide comment in then at the end. You made a few stupid contradictory points, revealed your level, and are a bit hurt. It’s ok.

Who was talking about Lance :man_shrugging:t2:

Carry on whinging so, you’d be no use to any club anyhow with that pathetic attitude

Lads are queueing up here, relax boys, it’s Christmas

All footballs should be punctured anyway. Give em all a hurley.

What a debater. You didn’t even acknowledge the funding difference and are now purely playing the man as you realise how foolish you sound. You’ll have a headache with all this hard thinking you’ve attempted.

I was replying to post that suggested he would get involved in coaching the team …I don’t think he will…might be hard for you to understand a lad not Dining out on 8 all Ireland senior medals when you see what happened your lot with one minor …

I’ve acknowledged it several times. But I don’t agree with giving up and pissing and moaning like a child

Lads have lost it here, even the lads who won. It’s barely 24 hours after it was won. It’s gonna be a cold Christmas.
