Waterford would have been better hooking him 10 minutes into the second half.
Great speech by David Burke that day. Went on a bit though so TG4 would have to put all their programming back 15 minutes to show it.
A fantastic song. They’ve some great songs in Galway.
Hearing Galway Bay ring out as I left Croker last January after the Club All Ireland is a very poignant memory thinking back.

Some very bad wides in this game.
Some brutal wides alright. Another one there.
Some very aimless kicking into the forwards too.Brolly must have been raging after all the nice ball he got in the 1st half.
Very entertaining game but too much aimless hoofing and absolutely shocking wides for it to be up there in the “best game ever” consideration. I know football was different back then but still.
Brolly disappeared.
