That was some pull/sidelinecut from Hardiman there…
Great to see the Galway sub having a swipe at Comerford a few minutes ago

Was it not John Hoyne? Some amount of frees in this so far.
Could have been, thought it was gas…
Kavanagh having a stormer…Would I be right in saying that this was Peter Barry and DJ’s last game for Kilkenny
Fairly emphatic finish there from Farragher
Unreal skill there before sending it over the bar.
Kilkenny absoluetly gifted three goals
Tommy Walsh playing without a red helmet is a collector’s item. Galway defence = jokeshop.
Game really took off there for the last ten minutes before half-time. Interesting to watch Kilkenny at this time. Their tackling and their style of taking the ball into contact was a lot different, way less intense. Larkin looks more of a stylish hurler than the powerhouse he became. Bit different how they compete for ball in the air as well. Cody seriously cleared the decks after this game.
The size difference in the IC players from then to now is extraordinary, they must average 2 stone heavier a man now.
Huge difference alright. Shefflin has had some unbelievable moments of sheer class in this game. You can almost see from the guys who are still hurling for Kilkenny with time running out where Cody saw the future. Power.
Puke football from Kerry. On now.
Epic piece of play.
To use music journalism wankspeak, this was the seminal game in the development of modern day Gaelic Football.
Cork v Clare 2005 on now.
Brian Lohan lording it there in the first half.Forgot what a great hurler seanie McMahon was.Colin Lynch had some engine on him in fairness but by was his distribution shit.Clare had a very good team back then and were really only lacking a scoring forward in stead of Anrew Quinn or diarmuid mcmahon to being genuine all ireland contenders.
The one day Carmody showed what he was really capable of
Kieran Murphy…
Daly has since suggested that taking Boc off that day cost us the game. Hard to know it that’s true but it didn’t help anyway. Some of Cork’s striking was shocking in this game.
Tyrone V Dublin from 2005 is on tonight…
Waterford V Cork All Ireland semi final from 2006 is on tonight…probably the most under-rated game of modern times, probably because it probably lacked the goals that other games between the two had
