No relation as far as I am aware. Peter is Clooney while Bobby is Clarecastle
It might be a bit soon for Bobby Duggan but there’s 8 or 9 more forwards in Clare who’ll feel like they’ve every chance of claiming a place on that team next year. At this point in time there’s a depth of talent there we’ve never had before and hopefully it’ll drive the whole thing onto another level.
Munster is going to be absolutely brilliant next year. Packed houses all round.

Clare’s biggest problem over the next two to three years is going to be which of their precociously talented young forwards to pick. It’s actually pretty insane the depth it looks like they will have in two or three years time especially in inside forwards.
I reckon the Clare subs will be the second best team in Ireland for the next few years and the only genuine test the first XV will get will be the training matches down in Cusack Park.
I am looking forward to the first year of a 10 year famine. 2021 can’t roll around quick enough.
No relation, he’s a Maggie, Peter plays with Clooney…serious prospect…and a brilliant freetake
I’d like Tipp in Thurles
Ah stop for fuck sake.
what? would be a great challenge…we’ve played the other 3 this year
Clare v Tipp in Cork will be the game of the year.
what’s harry so upset about?
I’d fucking love Clare in Thurles.
who are you?
Clare are going to dominate hurling for the next 10 years
If you tell me who you are I’ll tell you who I am
I am kaiser sose
I think the fact that Clare leaked 6 goals to a less than great Cork forward line shows a glimmer of path of where Clare might be beat. They also leaked bad goals to a dis-functional Galway team.
Of course Clare will evolve to cure this weakness but its a starting point.
It’s quite even across the top 4-6 teams now I think
I can’t see Clare dominating the way KK did the last decade, and frankly, who wants to see that again? There was something about the mental edge of that KK team that had other teams beaten before they stepped on the pitch. Clare don’t have that.
Clare will be the team to beat though. Hopefully it’s an inspiration to other counties and all boats will rise.
Clare, Limerick and Dublin in AI semi finals and all there on merit… that’s great to see.

Stop trying to be magnanimous FFS, we’ve been told that Clare people were cunts in the 90’s when they were winning and we should expect things to be no different now.
