They are saving the majority of their allocation for the Super 8 I believe. Think they have some of the Saturday night games in Leinster
Terence Murray! He was some man to let the timber go.
I see 2 of the Joe McDonagh counties enter this competition later in the summer
Theyâll be edge of the seat games.
Iâm sure this has been discussed but surely it would have made sense to run off the 2 provincial round robin groups. Then have your 2 semi finals (Leinster winners vs Munster runner up and vice versa) and your final.
Who thought it was a good idea to have 2 mismatches in the middle of the summer ?
The Super 8 in football will produce a pile of mismatches .
Bring back the straight knockout, kill or be killed in a heaving cauldron,Are you not entertained?
Kilt
One or two perhaps but I wouldnât agree with a pile.
The hurling ones are guaranteed
A pity Tipp - Cork and Clare - Waterford donât appear to be televised live.
Probably have to show some dross from the Connacht or Leinster football championship the same day to fill their quotas.
How did the fistyball quarter finals end up last year mate?
What dates are they on mate ?
To be fair it works both ways. It appears Dublin vs Kilkenny in hurling is on live, meaning either Mayo vs Galway or more likely Donegal vs Cavan wonât be shown.
I take your point and tbh It is a fob to âweaker counties â . No doubt done as part of a deal . We know these will be mismatches .
Dublin beat Monaghan
Tyrone beat Armagh
Kerry beat Galway
Mayo and Roscommon drew (Mayo won replay)
Btw : well done
The mayo v ros replay was some contest .
They must have been competitive enough games between the best 8 teams in the country?
Poor Mrs DB wanted to leave at half time.
I made her fucking stay til the finish though
They werenât great to be honest. The Tyrone vs Armagh and Dublin vs Monaghan double header was the least enjoyable day Iâve had in HQ
Are you deliberately avoiding my original post ?
Sorry mate what was your original post? I just waded in halfway through out of boredom.
