I think he could get something like 2-3 and win a few frees. He is in the form of his life at the moment. He didnt get any kind of protection in the Leinster Final and his opponent was allowed foul him with impunity. With Hogan back as well I think Kilkenny are starting to peak and are better now than they have been for a few years.

Casey is Suited to fennelly I think. It’s the him being isolated v low balls I’d be slightly worried about.

Limericks game plan is all about stopping the supply to the opposition forwards. The Casey Fennelly battle will be decided by who wins the battle in the Kilkenny half back line.

Allied to this, Cody is the Alex Ferguson/Bill Bellicheck of hurling. I don’t know what the stats are but how many times in his tenure has his team been beaten or held to a draw by an opponent and that same team beating them again in the same season or following championship season. We managed to beat Kilkenny more than any other county in the Cody era most notably in a Leinster Final but it was always followed up with a loss. Tipp can attest to the same. It should be a cracking game

Several Limerick posters, the actual knowledgeable ones, had tipped KK to beat Cork on here. The only place certainty of a Cork victory was coming from was from Cork posters who “didn’t see it coming”. So this perception that Cork were the only team capable of stopping Limerick was coming from… you guessed it… Cork lads! I was pretty confident Limerick would batter that Cork side in an AI Semi Final and am somewhat disappointed the windy cunts denied us the opportunity. Imagine the destruction Limerick, at Munster Final levels of rampage, would have done to those gutless windy cunts in Croke Park this time round with the experience of last year in the bank? Stop ffs

Now on to Kilkenny. One thing we’ll get in spades from Kilkenny is fight. They’ll give us fucking bags of it. They’ve got the character, attitude and workrate to beat us. Yesterday they proved they’ve the scoring power too. But I’m confident we’ll beat them. If we are on form, and you’d need to be on A game form for an All Ireland Semi or else you don’t deserve to win it, we’ll better their workrate, better their attitude, better their fight and character and we’re a better Hurlin team. So we just got to get our performance right and we’ll win.

If we don’t manage to get our performance right Kilkenny will beat us and will deserve to, and sure fuck it, so be it.

Tipp were blown away by Limerick’s work rate and intensity in the Munster final, I didn’t see it coming to be honest, Wexford will do similar to them.
