Shannon is hard work
Met him years ago. Quiet fella. Big into basketball in those days. Worked hard at the journalism to get where he is.
Sorry mate, be a shame to have survived so long in a Soviet concrete box only to be tipped over the edge by me
The gulag sounds better than gga football.
I wouldnât have thought Con Murphy was in any way tainted by his association with Frank over the years
Ditto.
One of the nicest peoole I have ever met. No one has a bad word to say about him.
Id say he has only an ambassadorial role these days doesnt his son do the most of it

Would not know, to be honest. But a gentleman.
The Cork rift is a gift that keeps on media givingâŚ
Just read the Shannon article. I think his columns are a great read normally. But that was just a cheap, unnecessary, shot at CM. Shannon will feel brunt of this from playersand contacts in cork in due course id guess.
His championing of Paudie Murray as potential next cork coach is interestingâŚto say the least. Paudie has some record, but he fancies himself something rotten

So your saying he has the requisite Corkness theyâve been looking for?
No Daly this week⌠Seldom heard former Waterford manager, Derek McGrath, is on as a guest.

What do you find great about them?
He generally finds interesting characters with stories to tell.
Wtf is his issue with Dr Con?

A lapsed TFK poster also championed Paudie Murray for the role a few years back. I donât want to get Megan Rapinoe and Sinead from The Journal on my back, but the level is the equivalent of boyâs u14 or u16. I doubt youâd find (m)any people arguing that an underage development squad manager should be their next senior county manager. Also, the standard in last yearâs All Ireland Senior Camogie Final was terribly poor. It was one of the first years (as part of the move for equality) where journalists actually called it out for being totally shit. Cork had 6 shots at the posts from play in the entire game and basically won a free taking competition.
Post up the article there please.

Fair enough. Thought you meant the columns rather than the features.
Weâll skip with the preamble. Any assessment of where the Cork hurlers go from here has to start with where John Meyler goes from here.
So if lads were forced to watch some Mickey mouse hurling match between Laois and Kerry in place of a top tier match theyâd be happy with that?

I went out of my way to find an online stream to watch a mickey mouse hurling game between Kerry & Offaly this year, although I did have money on it to be fair.
To be honest I would sooner a Joe McDonagh Cup game rather that seeing Dublin pit 30 points on Longford
