He got one critical score towards the end of the first half when KK really needed it. He’s still a leader for them. He will start if it’s Tipp but if it’s Wexford Cody will bring him off the bench to spook the Wexicans

I think his direct opponent Simon Donohue scored more than him in the Leinster final. Richie drilled some amount of easy ball today. Looks almost finished.
Cody is proving his greatness as a manager right now. Kilkenny are way better than the some of their parts and have been for the last number of years
He could still be effective if he knew his job was to link and set up scores, he tried shots today, tried to run around lads like he was 8 years younger

He was woeful first half but defo was improving when whipped off… Held up one lovely pass waiting for fennelly to move, if fennelly had picked a different line he was in for goal
He’s been running on empty all year, the cliff has caught up with him. Just makes you marvel all the more at what Cody and these players have achieved here

He was always cute but always had the hurling to match. Now he’s got a lot more cute but looks to have lost too much of the hurling beyond maybe a 20 minute cameo or something. Still would much rather have him in the squad than not
