Itās just that the best of the championship is behind us due to the front-loaded fixtures programme. I prefer the group stages and round of sixteen in summer football tournaments too. Now some teams have fallen by the wayside, e.g. Galway, thereās too long to wait between matches and the competition is further devalued by one of the semi-finalists having already been beaten twice.
They qualified for the last 6 by beating Carlow.
Davy has reinvented hurling. They said so on woolys podcast. So they did
Limerick 2009 take that cake. Wexford 04 and 07 not far behind
No we didnāt. Beating Carlow merely assured us of staying up in the Liam MacCarthy Cup. Carlow would have joined us on 2 points and had us on head to head before our last game, but for that pivotal Wexford victory that evening. It set us up nicely for the final round robin game and the potential winner takes all clash with Kilkenny to see who would join Galway in the Leinster Final.
Itās important for the likes of Wexford to have a county they might actually have a genuine chance of beating in the round robin. Hurling needs a strong Wexford
Ah the empty summer seethe continues in galway
Can any Wexican go one post without mentioning Galway:joy:?
Easy to see theres a serious inferiority complex at work here
Inferiority complex.
Leinster Senior Championship Roll of Honour:
Wexford - 21
Galway - 3
Lads badly need to adjust to the new system and stop living in 2017. Philistines talking about victoriesā¦ If 4 draws gets you through to the next round then four draws will do very nicely.
Another Galway reference here from a Wexican I see.
They just canāt help themselves I guess
Gentlemen please
Fuck tipp
Our Wexford buddies arenāt used to progressing this far and seem to be at a loss as to how to proceed, they are nervously tip toeing around, unsure what to do with themselves, a bit like @Bandage trying to get served in Buglers, and lashing out at the one county they canāt meet again for some bizaare reason.
Youāve 6 of the last 15 posts in the last hour and mentioned Wexford in every one and jumped in when a wexford based poster mentioned the upcoming semi final
Who is obsessed with who again?
Iām only trying to help you out
Unlike your namesake Galway be returning from the dead this season
That said Iād like to echo @maroonandwhite sentiments.
Did he spit at him?
Whatās the role of honour in the connacht senior championship for comparison??
Laois and Wexford have set fire to the Hurling Championship, thank god for them both.
